Asian accented man stated from o2 offering to upgrade to a new o2 5g SIM as satellites have changed will send me a one time passcode so that i can keep my number on the new phone and to read it out to him when it arrives. The call ID and the text both said they were o2 but the security alert on the text says do not read the number to anyone even if they claim to be from o2 and hang up - scam

Claiming to be O2 (Scam call) reported by Sophie
Indian woman called saying she's from O2 and offering a discount. She sent me a one time verification code and asked me to read it out. I knew this wasa scam so didn't (it even says in the text message not to read it to anyone saying they're from O2). I hung up. A man then called going on about the code and offer. When I said I knew it was a scam, he would not back down. They're tenacious and looks like they're trying to put positive reviews on here.
